Returns and Exchanges

Online shopping can be exciting when it arrives, when it fits, looks flattering and also makes you feel good. Like money well spent.

We understand you may not like your purchase on your feet or if it’s clothing on your body so we will do our best to offer the best customer service.


Here is our return policy.


To be eligible for a return, your items must be unworn, undamaged, unused with all original tags attached. We recommend trying on shoes on carpet only.  We do not accept the return of shoes that have been scuffed or marks on the sole from dirty feet when tried on.



Full price items purchased online can be returned and arrive back at Maurice within 14 days of you receiving your order.

HOW: email us at with your order number in the subject line.

Please include reason for return briefly in your email. You will also have a return slip to fill in when you post your purchase back to us. If you'd like the next size up or down to exchange please get in quick contact so we can reserve this for you.



You will be responsible for paying the shipping/postage to return your purchase back to Maurice at 256 Darling Street Balmain NSW 2041.


We insist you choose a postage method that allows you to track the item you are returning to us.

Tracking numbers for returned parcels are essential to ensure we receive the parcel from you (and it doesn't get lost in the mail)


Once we receive your return and we inspect it we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, then your refund will be process. 



Please note we do not refund for change of mind.

We offer exchange or a store credit within 7 days.

Please bring your purchase with your receipt that was SMS or emailed to you and the item that is in a saleable condition, with the original tags and labels still attached, the item is in its original packaging (if applicable), and the item is unused and as sold.

ACCC consumer guarantees do not apply if you:

* got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it

* misused a product in any way that caused the problem

* knew of or were made aware of the faults before you bought the product

* asked for a service to be done in a certain way against the advice of the business or were unclear about what you wanted VIEW ACCC HERE



As a small, boutique business, we are very transparent with our returns policy. Please choose carefully as we do not offer exchange or refund on the following items unless the item is faulty:

* Gift Cards

* Earrings

* Headwear

* Socks
